When people told me “long-distance relationships are hard,” I thought they said that because of the insecurities they felt.
I realize I was wrong. It’s not “hard” because of the “insecurities.” It’s hard because the presence of your significant other is not there. They’re somewhere else far away and you just really miss them.
But deep down inside, you know that they’re always there for you. No matter how far away they may be from you physically, they’re there with you emotionally. As long as there is trust, good communication, and everything in between, everything will be okay.
